Get an AED for Your Field

Every youth sports venue should have a defibrillator within reach of the field. BeeReady helps leagues, clubs, and facilities get one there.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donations to us are tax-deductible. That funding goes back out as AEDs and training for the leagues that need them. If cost is what stands between your field and a defibrillator, start here.

How the program works

Tell us about your field
Your league or club, the venue, and roughly how many athletes and families are there on a normal weekend.
We look at funding together
Depending on need and what we have raised, that can mean a donated unit, help covering part of the cost, or help finding a sponsor.
Placement and training come with it
A defibrillator nobody can find or use is not readiness. We help you decide where it lives and train the people who would reach for it.
It stays maintained
Pads and batteries expire. We show you the monthly check that keeps the unit ready.

What to include in your request

The more we know up front, the faster we can give you a straight answer.

  • Your league, club, or facility, and the sport or sports you run
  • Every venue you use: fields, courts, gyms, or pools, and how far apart they are
  • Whether you have any AED today, and where it is kept
  • Who is usually on site who could be trained: coaches, volunteers, parents, older players
  • Your season dates, so placement and training can happen before games start

What a complete AED setup includes

A defibrillator is only part of being ready. When we help place one, we plan for the whole setup:

  • The AED, with pads for adults and children
  • A spare battery and pads, because both expire
  • A small rescue kit stored with the unit
  • A cabinet or carry case that fits the venue, plus signage
  • A named person who checks it every month
  • American Red Cross CPR and AED training for the people nearby

What we can and cannot promise

BeeReady is a young nonprofit and our capacity depends on what has been donated. We cannot promise an AED to every league that asks. What we can promise is a straight answer about where you stand, and help finding another route if we are not the right one.
