# BeeReady

> BeeReady is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation that teaches lifesaving
> skills to young athletes through youth sports. We bring CPR basics, AED
> awareness, and emergency confidence directly to games, practices, and
> community events, and we work to place AEDs on more sidelines. Founded in
> June 2026 by North Carolina physicians Dr. Andi Senter (Executive Director)
> and Dr. Elda Fisher (Medical Director) with entrepreneur Matt Senter
> (COO/CTO),
> and based in Durham, NC. Recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt
> organization. We teach American Red Cross CPR, AED, and Basic Life Support
> training. We request a $50 donation per person for training; it is not
> required, and we train for free when needed.

## What we teach
- CPR basics: the essential steps to respond to a cardiac emergency
- AED awareness: how to find and use an automated external defibrillator
- Emergency confidence: staying calm, thinking clearly, and taking action
- Team responsibility: looking out for teammates and the community
