BEE READY — Teaching kids lifesaving CPR and AED skills through youth sports

Teaching kids lifesaving skills, one game at a time.

BeeReady is a physician-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We bring American Red Cross CPR and AED training, and the AEDs themselves, to youth sports in Durham and across the Triangle. Every young athlete should have the confidence and skills to respond in an emergency, so we are building a generation that is prepared, confident, and ready to save lives.

The Bee Team

Prepared kids. Stronger sidelines.

This is what readiness looks like in the real world: kids learning lifesaving skills together and showing up ready to help.

Why We Exist

It started with a simple question.

What if the kids playing sports on the field were the ones who could step up in an emergency? Youth sports bring communities together, and that is exactly where lifesaving skills should start.
